CONTRACTIONS

It is not recommended to use the PEMF function of the mat (Simply switch it off) under these circumstances: • pregnancy • Toddlers (under 7 years) • When using magnetic/electronic implants (pacemakers!) • Epilepsy & seizure-like neurological disorders • Severe cardiac arrhythmias and heart diseases • hyperthyroidism • angina pectoris All other applications can be set and used independently of the PEMF function. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PEMF AND RED LIGHT THERAPY

PEMF THERAPY

PEMF therapy uses electromagnetic fields to influence cellular activity and tissue regeneration.

RED LIGHT THERAPY

Red light therapy relies on infrared light therapy and visible light to improve blood flow and stimulate cellular processes.
Wavelengths of light penetrate the skin and stimulate cellular repair. Also known photobiomodulation, red light is used at a wavelength of between 620 and 700 nm.
Red light therapy works by stimulating the mitochondria in our cells. The mitochondria are responsible for producing energy in the cell, and when they are stimulated by red light, they produce more ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is the energy currency of the cell.

FAQs

We use a non-EMF heating wire on our mat to protect from the electromagnetic radiation as well as having a carbon layer within the mat to shield it further. If you are very sensitive to electricity, it is recommended to wrap some aluminum foil around the plug for additional insulation.

The power needed to use this mat is approximately 280 W per hour which corresponds to a consumption of 0.28 kWh. This is approximately the same amount of consumption that a computer would take in an hour of being plugged in.

We are not aware of any side effects when the mat is used as described. Some customers experience an initial worsening of symptoms. This is not abnormal. Sometimes a “worsening effect” occurs when toxins are being removed from the body. If you notice any kind of worsening, it is recommended to use this mat with caution by lowering the temperature when using it or some other function. *NOTE: It is not recommended for young children, pregnant women or people who have heart or blood pressure problems. If you are unsure whether your specific condition is suitable with the mat, it is best to check with your medical professional before using.

We would suggest a large mat with the pillow if you are a health professional using it for your clients to give them the best of an entire body experience.
