As a general rule of thumb, we recommend trying 10-20 minute sessions, 3-5 times a week. But everyone will respond differently and can be custom to each user. There is a lot of information online claiming to know the perfect usage amount which seems to contradict each other. We recommend not exceeding each session longer than 20 minutes and starting off on just 10 minutes to test your tolerance to the light.

Keep a greater distance for sensitive areas and closer for deeper treatment. A recommendation is to have a minimum of 3 inches from the skin. Some people have more sensitive skin and will need an increased distance. Try experimenting and see what suits you more, you should feel a subtle warmth when in use.

It is best to treat areas on the body directly without clothing as clothing can interfere with the absorption of the red light into the skin and cells

Yes, red light therapy is not known to have any adverse affects for daily use. In fact, it is recommended to use your Lumea Mini consistently to help treat different areas of your body. The more consistent your therapy, the better the results will be. That is why it has a cute and compact design, so that it is portable anytime, anywhere you need it.

You should not look directly into the light of the Lumea Mini. It is not required to wear goggles while using this device but if you are using it on your face, it may be a good idea to close your eyes during the treatment so as not to irritate your vision.

Although you can never have zero EMF levels, the LUMEA Mini device EMF levels have been tested and are very low and comply with all industry standards. On this device they have been tested at 0.0 µT @ 3 inches
